Terms of Service

Effective date: May 10, 2026.

These terms govern your use of CEO Mind ("the app", "we", "us"), operated by Lotem Taba, sole proprietor in Israel. By downloading, installing, or using the app, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't use the app.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old to use CEO Mind. If you're using the app on behalf of a company or other entity, you represent that you have authority to bind that entity to these terms.

2. Your account

You're responsible for:

• Keeping your account credentials secure.
• All activity that happens under your account.
• The accuracy of information you provide (email, display name, etc.).

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, are used for illegal activity, or threaten the integrity of the service.

3. Subscriptions and billing

CEO Mind offers a free tier and paid premium plans. When premium plans are available, the following terms apply:

• Paymentis processed by Apple (App Store) or Google (Play Store), not by us directly. Apple's and Google's standard subscription terms apply.
• Auto-renewal — paid subscriptions auto-renew at the end of each billing period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the renewal date through your App Store or Play Store account settings.
• Free trials— if a free trial is offered, you can cancel anytime during the trial without being charged. If you don't cancel, the subscription will begin at the end of the trial.
• Refunds— handled by Apple or Google per their refund policies. We don't process refunds directly.
• Pricing changes— we'll give you at least 30 days' notice before any price increase. You can cancel before the change takes effect.

4. Your content

You own your voice recordings, transcripts, and everything you create in the app. We do not claim any rights to your content. We process it only to provide the service to you, as described in our Privacy Policy.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the app for any illegal purpose, or to plan or commit illegal activity.
• Reverse-engineer the app, scrape its API, or attempt to extract our AI prompts or backend logic.
• Abuse the service in ways that exceed normal personal use (e.g., sharing your account with many people, automating mass session creation to drain our AI budget).
• Upload audio that contains another person's voice without their consent.
• Submit content that is defamatory, harassing, or harmful to others.
• Attempt to bypass our security controls or access other users' accounts or data.

6. AI-generated content

The app uses third-party AI models (OpenAI, Groq) to transcribe your audio and generate reflections. AI output:

• May contain inaccuracies or hallucinations.
• Should not be relied on as professional advice (legal, medical, financial, etc.).
• Is generated probabilistically — different sessions, even with identical content, may produce different output.

You're responsible for reviewing AI-generated content and deciding what to act on. We don't guarantee accuracy or fitness for any particular purpose.

7. Service availability

We aim to keep the app available 24/7, but we don't guarantee uptime. The service depends on third-party providers (Firebase, OpenAI, Groq) whose outages can affect us. We may also take the service down for maintenance — we'll try to give notice when we can.

8. Termination

You can stop using the app at any time. To delete your account permanently, go to Profile → Delete Account in the app. This wipes all your data within 24 hours.

We may terminate or suspend your account if you violate these terms, with or without notice. If we terminate without cause, we'll give you at least 30 days' notice to export your data.

9. Disclaimer of warranties

The app is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We don't warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or meet your specific requirements. AI-generated content is not professional advice and should not be relied on as such.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, CEO Mind and Lotem Taba will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim related to the service will not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose, or 100 ILS, whichever is greater.

Some jurisdictions don't allow these limitations; in those jurisdictions, our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.

11. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of Israel. Any dispute will be resolved in the courts of Tel Aviv, Israel, unless local consumer-protection law in your country grants you the right to bring a claim in your local courts.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. If the changes are material (e.g., new subscription terms, changes to liability), we'll notify you in-app and via email at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the app after the change means you accept the new terms.
